I hope April will be good to me too. Another wish from me is I'll be more diligent to upload this blog.

I've been discussing with my friend what is the next restaurant that we should visit and give it a try. But I'll go after my exam is over. So, once again please wait for me :)

[REVIEW] Pannacotta Etc. Pacific Place

Okaayyy, another round of review for dessert lol. This place is located in Pacific Place. I visited this place almost a month ago. Yea yeah yeah, I know, it's kinda late right but I've been busy with my homework. It's new semester and there is always a lot of homework.

Before they opened a store in Pacific Place, you can only ordered their pannacotta via online. Thanks God they finally opened a store because if you order food online, the shipping cost will be very expensive especially food like this because they have to send the food by themselves, if they use usual shipping company, the food will be a mess.

This visit was planned, but it was still fifty-fifty whether me and my friend would go or not. Our intentions is to try Paul Patisserie. So after we tried Paul, which I'll post about it later, we went inside the mall for a window shopping. Then suddenly, we saw Pannacotta Etc! Before that I even already forget about it haha. My friend didn't want to eat this, so it's up to me. I was thinking from every side, economic side, fat side, and my full tummy side, LOL! So after I thought about it, in the end I ate it anyway, I can't hold my curiosity.

So, because I'm the only who was eating so I only ordered one. The flavor that I chose is Banana pannacotta with Hazelnut Choco.

The presentation was amazing. It might looked big in the photo but it was actually small in real, the diameter of the pannacotta is like less than 10 cm. But the presentation is really cute, pretty and unique. It served on a cutting board, with a small box for the pannacotta and the small cup for the sauce. Actually they didn't only served pannacotta they also have some drinks like coffee.

Banana Pannacotta with Hazelnut Choco around IDR 30k

Anyway, I love the sentence! "The seduction Begins Here". LOL. Not in the pervert meaning but I love how they chose the words. I think the words is the first reason why I chose this flavor LOL.

Pour the sauce to the pannacotta...

And voila! Here you go...

You know, when you make something from banana, the texture from the banana will still be there. So does with this pannacotta. When you bite the pannacotta, it didn't feel soft and smooth, it felt slightly rough from the banana's texture itself. But the taste was pretty good. At first, it tasted a bit weird, but after a few mouthful, it tasted pretty nice to be honest.

The chocolate was perfect! The balance for sweetness when it combined with the pannacotta is amazing! It suited perfectly. You just can't let it left over even just a sip. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this visit.

Oh! Another thing is definitely about price :) I think that the price is pretty expensive because the portion is kinda small.

But if you can't hold my curiosity like me, there's always money and space for food and beverages. Besides, it's not a sin to try something new! ;)

[REVIEW] Green Tea Roll Rati-Rati

I actually visited Rati-Rati almost a month ago lol but yeah I finally get a chance to write a post about it now *a bit shy HAHAHA. If you want to go to this place, you have to search for it closely because the name's board is really small and the place from outside looks kinda dark.

This visit was unplanned. Me and my friend actually just wanted to go for a dinner but yeah, our tummy didn't agree LOL. Anyway, why did I only choose the green tea roll? Because after me and my friend had our dinner, we want some dessert but we can't eat a lot again, our tummy already full enough but we still want some sweet things so we chose Rati-Rati, and besides my friend wanted to buy it for take away.

Green Tea Roll Cake around IDR 38k inc. tax

When I was looking at the display, my eyes definitely went to green tea so we ordered that. Tbh, I had a high expectation about how it would taste, because people were talking about it and this restaurant is quite famous. But, in the end, it only felt enough satisfied.

The ice cream and crunchy was standard, nothing really special. You can choose the ice cream flavor, there are vanilla and chocolate, that's what I remembered LOL. The roll was perfectly made, it was soft and I liked that. But the problem is the taste of the green tea. It had the same taste with the green tea powder that I bought in a cooking store to make my green tea cookies. Perfectly the same! I was like, geezzzzz.

But for you who never tasted that green tea powder, it was nice! Super nice I'm telling you, it really smells good makes you want to eat it ASAP. So does the taste, really really delicious, it had a strong taste of green tea. I would love it if I hadn't taste it before.

The bomb part for me was the filling. They combined it, which I thought is a whipped cream, with red bean in it and it came out really good. I really really love it. Not too sweet, and just perfectly match <3

When you want to eat this, or any other flavor, I advice you to eat it with a bite of the roll + the filling don't forget, the ice cream and the crunchy! Parfait :)

Now, about the price it's kinda insane to set that price for only a roll cake. But, I think you won't regret it to give it a try! ;)

[REVIEW] Gudeg Yu Djum Yogyakarta

Yeay, finally homey after visited relatives's houses because it's (finally) Chinese New Year :) My legs are tired even tho all I did for the whole day was just smile, talk, "kiong hi", and eat off course. So got nothing to do anymore, here I am (finally) found something to blogged.

I visited this restaurant when my last trip to Yogya, in late 2013, right before new year's eve.

Everybody are saying that if you come to Yogya, you have to try this gudeg. So here I am..

Basically there are two kinds of gudeg, wet and dry. The wet type has a lot of sauce, and the dry type only has a little sauce. This Yu Djum's gudeg is the type of dry gudeg.

There are a few branches of this restaurant. I tried in two different place.

This one, I tried in Kaliurang Street (if I'm not mistaken, poor my brain, i forgot T_T). There are three billboards besides the road, it contain three different restaurant of gudeg, and one of them is Yu Djum. BUT, to get to the Yu Djum one, you should walk a little further from the main road and this restaurant is in a house (maybe this is the headquarters).

I came at night, I think around 7 or 8 PM. Gudeg? Check! There were still available, so did the egg, check! BUT, the only chicken that left were chicken wings and there were only 2 or 3 pcs left (I'm not a fan of chicken wings, but that's the only left behind so what can I do?). Anyway, I was still the lucky one, because the customers after me definitely can't eat the chicken plusssss the egg was out of stock too LOL.

This located in the middle of the town, just need to walk a little further because the place is, let's say isolated. But they never out of customers just out of stock everyday.
Addition, you can park your car inside or in front of the restaurant but the place is small, so if it's crowded (poor you) you have to park on the main road and have a bit exercise.

around IDR 20k

This one I tried after I bought some souvenirs, around Road Magelang-Yogya, it's right before I was going home. I accidentally found this restaurant LOL (fate to eat this before coming back haha). This place is not located in the middle of the town and only consist of 3-4 tables, so yeah it's small. If you want to be more easier, try this before you come back home.

I'm telling you again, I was the lucky one too, the next customers after me, didn't get the chicken because it's out of stock! Fate goes to me LOL

Btw, you can see the difference between the egg compare to the first one. The second egg were too dry I think, so it became hard especially the outside. I don't know whether they cooked it too long or what. But the first egg were fine.

around IDR 30k

I surely love this gudeg! I love the taste, I love how the gudeg melt in my mouth (over act? lemme be sometime). For me, the "krecek" was too dry (it's only the matter of personal taste). But overall, I love it. I'm telling you, it will be even more tastier if they serve with hot rice, that would be parfait!
About the price......... I think this was my most expensive meal in Yogya.

Lemme warn you guys! If you really wanna try this restaurant, you MUST come early to try their best!
